ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
DonorConnect is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant . This position provides administrative support to the organization (call handling, mail, data entry, office supplies, misc. projects), prioritizing coverage of front office duties including answering telephone calls, directing guests, monitoring common areas. This role can also support the Administration team and various departments by assisting with clerical and project-based tasks. This position is a 36 hour work week position and onsite presence is required in Murray, UT. DonorConnect is a federally designated nonprofit community service organization dedicated to the recovery of organs and tissues to be used for life-saving transplants. Under the direction of the Senior Program Supervisor, the position of the
Administrative Assistant:
1. Assumes responsibility for reception and front office administrative duties including main business telephone line, monitoring and coordinating visitor access to the building, mail and deliveries, office equipment assistance and supplies, and assists with general organization calendar and conference room schedules. 2. Monitors stock of office supplies and places orders as needed. Maintains records, supplies and common areas with accuracy and ensures cleanliness of shared spaces such as breakrooms and meeting spaces throughout the office. 3. Assumes responsibility for clerical duties and other administrative support as needed, including generating documents, flyers, mailings, and presentations to support the team and organization. Coordinates meeting logistics as directed, providing support with notes and action items. 4. All employees are expected to be professional, polite, and positive; assume good intent, be respectful, supportive, share expertise, and facilitate team interactions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Training/Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree preferred, and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience Completes relevant continuous education courses approved by departmental leadership
Experience Required:
Minimum of one to two years of customer service or administrative support experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong computer skills, including basic graphic design and Microsoft business applications Knowledge of and ability to use business office and phone equipment (printer/copy machine/scanner, phone, postage machine) Understanding of basic accounting and clerical functions Well organized, accurate, and attentive to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Flexible, willingness to assist others Able to work well under stress Sensitive with the ability to maintain confidentiality Able to work well both independently and as a team Able to successfully prioritize work Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to move up to 10 pounds at times with or without reasonable accommodation DonorConnect is a PROUD Equal Opportunity Employer who Values Diversity in Both Experience and Background!
