The Opportunity We are looking for an exceptionally reliable, adaptable, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to serve as a Floating MA / Front Office Coordinator for our Utah clinics. Your home clinic will be Taylorsville , but this position is designed to provide additional support wherever our patients and teams need it most. When coverage is needed, you may be asked to work at our Sandy, Pleasant Grove, or Clearfield clinics . Some days you'll support the front office. Other days you may assist a provider, administer TMS treatments, monitor Spravato patients, or help another clinic that needs additional coverage. What You'll DoPatient & Clinical Support Welcome patients and help create a positive, compassionate experience. Check patients in and prepare them for appointments. Obtain and document vital signs. Assist psychiatric providers with patient-care needs. Respond to appropriate patient questions and route clinical questions to the appropriate provider. Assist with prescription and refill request workflows. Upload and maintain accurate information in patient charts. Support medical-record and other clinical workflows. TMS & Spravato Support Training will be provided as appropriate to help you support our interventional psychiatry programs.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting with TMS mappings. Administering TMS treatments according to established protocols. Preparing patients and treatment areas. Supporting and monitoring patients receiving Spravato treatment. Obtaining and documenting required vital signs and observations. Completing required treatment documentation. Following established safety, escalation, and compliance procedures. Collaborating closely with providers throughout treatment. Front Office & Administrative Support Check patients in and out. Schedule and reschedule appointments. Answer phones and respond to emails and patient messages. Assist patients with forms and registration. Maintain accurate patient demographic and chart information. Support provider schedules and daily patient flow. Help ensure important patient requests are routed and addressed promptly. Collaborate with scheduling, billing, prior authorization, providers, MAs, and other support teams. Floating Clinic Coverage Taylorsville will be your primary/home location. When additional coverage is needed, you may be asked to work at: Sandy Pleasant Grove Clearfield Because this position helps us respond quickly when another clinic needs support, reliability and flexibility are essential. The ideal candidate can adjust when needs change and arrive at another Whole Mind clinic ready to support the team and provide an excellent patient experience. Actual schedules will be established based on clinic and patient-care needs. Because this is a floating position, flexibility regarding both schedule and location is an important part of the role. Strong organizational and communication skills. Comfortable using computers and electronic health records. Reliable transportation and ability to travel between designated Utah clinics when needed. Ability to meet the scheduling flexibility required for this position.
Preferred:
Experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, neurology, or another outpatient healthcare setting. Front-office or patient-scheduling experience. Experience with electronic health records.
