Administrative Support Specialist II (Same Day Access) District 19 Community Services Board Job Category Administrative/Clerical Overview Description District 19 Community Services Board has a vacancy for a regular hourly position to deliver support and administrative duties to the Same Day Access program and provide navigation assistance to service members, military, veterans, and families (SMVF) seeking services in Petersburg, Virginia. Essential job duties of this position include: tracking data related to SMVF, being knowledgeable about military/veterans resources in the community to provide service linkage, receiving and screening calls and visitors; typing; data entry, and reimbursement and billing. Provide excellent customer service, navigating electronic health records, handling financial information and following up on claims. Will be responsible for releasing requested documents to other third parties. Medical Records. Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive behavioral health information. Working in a behavioral health setting. Successful applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge or experience working with the military/veteran population, data entry experience, proficient typing skills, and demonstrated receptionist experience. Must have experience in a mental health and medical setting and reimbursement. Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and have experience using Microsoft Office. A bilingual (English/Spanish) candidate is preferred.

Salary:

Position is a grade 202, starting rate is $17.35/hour. Offers will be commensurate with knowledge, skills, and abilities subject to budgetary constraints.
