Administrative Assistant Position Overview & Requirements Pacific Forest Management, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant. This central role supports company operations by managing office workflows, providing exceptional client service, and assisting field personnel.
•
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED, valid WA Driver's License, and a strong background in detailed bookkeeping.
•
Core Skills:
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, strong communication skills, and professional appearance.
•
Physical Needs:
Ability to perform light office maintenance, organize supply rooms, and transport company vehicles. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Financial Administration

Financials:
Manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and auto expenses.
•
Reporting:
Process time/mileage reports, L&I summaries, load ticket audits, and landowner financial summaries. Client Services & Front Office Reception
•
Reception:
Serve as the primary contact; answer phone calls, greet visitors, and route inquiries.
•
Relations:
Build positive client relationships while maintaining strict data confidentiality. Land Use & Permit Administration
•
Permitting:
Process requests for property access, firewood permits, and special use permits.
•
Logistics:
Manage facility rental payments, gate key checkouts, and insurance certificate databases. Staff & Operations Support
•
Field Support:
Help field staff with basic tech issues, benefit enrollments, and gear checkout logs.
•
Coordination:
Manage travel reservations, virtual meeting setups, training, and report archiving. Facility Coordination & Maintenance
•
Upkeep:
Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area; organize the office supply room.
•
Vehicles & Vendor Management:
Schedule building needs, coordinate contracted janitors, and transport vehicles for service appointments.
Expected hours:
30.0 - 40.0 per week
