Job Overview:
Lake Cushman Maintenance Company (LCMC) is seeking a Programs Assistant I to provide year-round administrative and clerical support for a variety of LCMC operational and administrative programs. This position supports activities across multiple departments, including Water, Roads, Parks, Greenbelts, the Shop, and cross-department initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, able to provide excellent customer service, and willing to learn a variety of LCMC systems and procedures. This position involves detailed administrative work, tracking information across multiple programs, and regular public interaction.Job Posting:

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain organized digital and paper files, permits, correspondence, and program records
- Perform data entry and update spreadsheets, databases, and digital forms
- Prepare basic reports, letters, notices, and meeting packets
- Assist with Requests for Action (RFAs), project tracking, and member communication
- Support cross-connection and compliance documentation
- Provide courteous assistance to members via phone, email, and in person
- Help maintain Smartsheet folders, shared drives, and internal documentation
- Track recurring tasks, deadlines, and follow-up items across multiple programs
- Assist with procedure updates, internal documentation, and process improvement as assigned
- Attend meetings as assigned and assist with note-taking
- Support other LCMC programs or departments as organizational needs evolve
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic spreadsheet skills
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn LCMC systems and follow established procedures
- Ability to manage recurring tasks, follow instructions, and maintain accurate records
Pay & Benefits:
- $21.00/hour
- Fixed daytime schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m
- 2:30 p.m.
