Job Purpose The Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LaBA) is responsible for development, implementation, and clinical oversight of assigned client programming. The LaBA works under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Duties and Responsibilities Provides one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients as needed. Conducts functional behavior assessments using indirect and direct methods including functional analyses. Initiates all assigned services to clients timely and in keeping with established BCS practice guidelines. Conducts skills-based assessments including but not limited to
VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, PEAK.
Creates behavior intervention plans and skills-based programming for each client. Continually analyzes data and adapt each client's individual plan as needed. Develops treatment plans and progress reports for all clients. Trains staff on implementation of each client's individual plan. Collaborates with other service providers to promote coordination of care. Develops and conduct parent training. Communicates with parents regarding clinical progress and/or concerns. Submits timely and accurate documentation of client sessions and communications with families/guardians. Collaborates with the Owner to schedule his/her daily appointments as needed. Meets established clinical quality performance and production targets identified for the position. Collaborates with the Owner to review ongoing training needs of all center staff. Maintains knowledge of all regulatory requirements affecting the care and treatment of their clients. Completes additional duties as assigned. Qualifications At least enrolled in an BCBA Master's degree program and/or licensed with WA State Dept of Health. Current BCaBA certificate from the BACB or graduation from a recognized Bachelor's degree program, successful completion of a minimum of 180 classroom hours of classroom instruction in behavior analysis topics, and successful completion of a supervised experience requirements.
