Job Description

Job Overview We're looking for a warm, organized, and detail-oriented Insurance Office Assistant to be the first point of contact for our clients and a key support to our team. This is more than answering phones — you'll be the face and voice of our agency, helping clients feel welcomed and cared for while keeping our office running smoothly.
Salary Range:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits Hourly Base Salary Based on Experience Mon-Thur Schedule Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative role (insurance or professional office experience a plus) Strong verbal and written communication skills Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment Proficient with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, email, scheduling software) Willingness to obtain a Washington State insurance license (training/support provided) Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner (in person and by phone) Answer and route incoming calls; take detailed messages when needed Intake new quotes from propspects Schedule and manage appointments for agents Assist clients with basic policy questions, payments, and document requests Maintain accurate client records and update information in agency management systems Process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and email correspondence Support agents with administrative tasks: filing, data entry, preparing documents Order and maintain office supplies Assist with special projects, mailers, or client outreach as needed Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment About Us Megan Allbee-Farmers Insurance Agency is a vibrant and professional team committed to empowering clients with top-tier insurance solutions.
