RBCC UCC
is looking for a dedicated and collaborative team player to join our organization and support our community. As the Business Office Administrator, you are the first point of contact for our church and an essential asset to the functioning of our congregation. In this role, you will be responsible for administrative and facilities coordination, in addition to communication management within the church and with the local community. This role reports directly to the Senior Pastor and interacts with church staff, volunteers, and community members. Convenient to Edmonds, Lynnwood, Shoreline and Seattle. We are on the bus line and also provide free parking. This is a part-time position working 30 to 35 hours per week.
Overview of Job Duties:
  • Greet and assist visitors, answer phones, manage email inbox and direct correspondence and inquiries appropriately Maintain financial records, manage invoices, issue payments and reimbursements and support the Treasurer as needed, using Quickbooks.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial and Board reports
  • Assist in maintaining church website, social media, and other print and digital marketing materials
  • Coordinate communication and manage information distribution among staff, boards, and committees
  • Maintain church records including relevant community and congregant updates
  • Assist with printing and distribution of church materials
  • Maintain electronic backup of all digital materials
  • Manage facilities calendar including communication and coordination of space rental for church and community functions
  • Manage inventory and purchasing of facility materials including (but not limited to) janitorial, hospitality, and office supplies
  • Assist in communication and coordination of building maintenance and facility repair
  • Support the maintenance and operation of office equipment
  • Manage building and facility leases and facilitate communication with outside vendors
  • Maintain emergency phone list
  • Other duties as deemed appropriate by the
Senior Minister Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience in office administration or related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Quickbooks
  • Proficient in database management software (Access or Church Windows preferred)
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team-minded and flexible with a desire to provide exceptional support
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an interest in relationship-building and professional growth
  • Independent self-starter who is comfortable with change and understands shifting priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with RingCentral phone system
  • Experience with Quickbooks
  • Experience with Subsplash

Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
