General Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Executive Director or Program Manager, the Secretary uses technical skills to provide secretarial and clerical services for Program Managers.
Salary:
The full salary range for this position is $24.57 per hour/$42,260.24 annually - $29.90 per hour/$51,427.81 annually. Offers are made at the beginning of the range .
Note:
annual salary will be prorated to start date.
Assignment:
This position is 8 hours per day, 215 days per year and will serve our Curae Center in Vancouver, WA. The Curae Center supports students who need additional social, emotional and behavioral support. PM Essential Functions/Other Functions Essential Functions:
Engage in routine phone, clerical, and record keeping work. Create required reports and correspondence. Create and process fiscal reports and similar program fiscal documents. Manage and provide support services for conference and workshop activities and support the work of Administrative Assistants to accomplish program and agency objectives. Implement office and building procedures, program projects and assigned tasks. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, volunteers, and general public. Develop and process documents, compile and manage data, and prepare summary reports. Track tasks and projects from development through implementation. Utilize technical skills and provide support to program and program managers.
Other Functions:
Maintain confidentiality. Maintain orderly and tidy work space Other duties as assigned.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications & Skills Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Two years of secretarial experience. Experience using Microsoft Office programs and managing databases. Experience in a customer service environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree. Three years of secretarial experience. Experience in an educational environment.
Working Conditions/Employment Requirements Working Conditions:
Office environment. Operate keyboard to accomplish required tasks. Perform stationary routine and repetitive functions for extended periods. Frequent sitting, stooping and bending. Occasional travel, including overnight for conference support. Ability to work flexible hours.
