Job Description
The Clinton Community School District is currently seeking an administrative assistant at the Jr./Sr. high school to work from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday (210 work days per year).Candidates must be service and detail-oriented, hardworking, professional, accommodating, flexible, and able to maintain confidentiality. Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft and Google Suites are highly desired. Ideal candidates will also have had previous experience working in a school setting and in using the Skyward student management system. The ability to type 35 words a minute, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to maintain the confidentiality of student records, and efficient money handling skills, as well as being a team player in an office environment, are all requirements of this position. Applicants must have a high school diploma.
The position includes a benefits package which includes: WRS with life insurance option, holiday pay, sick/funeral leave prorated to July 1, a single health insurance plan, and a family dental plan. Hourly wage is competitive and will be based on previous experience and candidate qualifications. Applications will be accepted via WECAN and must include a letter of interest, a current resume, letters of recommendation, and a listing of other references. •An additional $5,000 (prorated by FTE) cash in lieu is provided each year when not utilizing the District's Health coverage.
