Part-Time To apply please email PresidentScott@VillageofFremontWI.gov Job Overview The Deputy Clerk / Treasurer plays a vital role in supporting the administrative and financial operations of the Village Hall. This position involves assisting with recordkeeping, financial transactions, and general office duties to ensure smooth and efficient village government functions. The Deputy Clerk / Treasurer provides essential support to the Clerk / Treasurer and contributes to maintaining accurate records and effective communication within the community. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Clerk / Treasurer and Village Hall operations. Perform general filing, recordkeeping, scanning, copying, and maintaining organized office systems. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts. Respond promptly to routine phone calls, emails, and inquiries from residents, vendors, or other stakeholders. Support the preparation of official documents, meeting agendas, and minutes as needed. Help ensure compliance with local regulations and maintain accurate financial records. Support special projects or community events as assigned by the Clerk / Treasurer. Requirements Prior experience in administrative support or office management is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and documentation. Basic understanding of financial procedures related to accounts payable and receivable. Excellent communication skills for responding to inquiries professionally and courteously. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent tools. Dependability, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 30.0 per week
