Job Description

Do you like helping people, solving problems, and being the person your team can count on to follow things through? Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists of Wisconsin is looking for an Audiology Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of patient interaction, healthcare administration, insurance coordination, technology, and behind-the-scenes problem solving. You'll play an important role in keeping our Audiology department running smoothly and ensuring our patients receive timely, well-coordinated care. Who We're Looking For You'll be a great fit if you: Are highly organized and have strong attention to detail. Take ownership of your work and follow tasks through to completion. Can juggle multiple priorities and interruptions without losing track of the details. Communicate warmly and professionally with patients, coworkers, insurance companies, and outside organizations. Enjoy problem-solving and aren't afraid to take initiative. Are comfortable with technology and learning new systems. Can work independently while also being a dependable, collaborative teammate. What You'll Do You'll help coordinate the administrative side of our patients' hearing healthcare, including: Completing hearing aid prior authorizations and insurance benefit verification. Managing Audiology referrals and coordinating with referring offices. Ordering and tracking hearing aids and coordinating repairs, warranties, and returns. Managing hearing aid drop-offs, walk-ins, and patient questions. Assisting patients with basic hearing aid technology, including Bluetooth connectivity. Monitoring Audiology schedules, preparing charts, and managing appointment recalls. Maintaining accurate patient documentation and Audiology records. Managing hearing aid and supply inventory, ordering, shipping, and receiving. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years of experience in a healthcare, clinic, or administrative support setting. Strong communication, organization, and computer skills. Experience with insurance verification, prior authorizations, EMRs, Audiology, ENT, or hearing healthcare is a plus but not required.
