Job Summary The Utility / General Laborer is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the fabrication shop through material handling, shipping and receiving, deliveries, facility upkeep, and production support. This position helps maintain an efficient, organized, and safe work environment while ensuring materials, equipment, and products are properly handled and managed throughout the manufacturing process. The Utility / General Laborer works closely with management and fabrication personnel to support daily operations and contribute to the successful completion of customer projects. Primary Responsibilities Load and unload trucks for incoming and outgoing deliveries and shipments. Ability to complete and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation. Perform pickups and deliveries of materials, supplies, and products to vendors, customers, and job sites as required. Ability to safely move, stage, organize, and store materials throughout the fabrication shop. Maintain the organization and proper handling of scrap metal and other recyclable materials. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the PAVE building and property. Assist with facility maintenance, groundskeeping, and other building-related needs. Assist the Fabrication Department with material preparation, material handling, cleanup, and general production support. Assist with and learn the operation of fabrication equipment, including press brakes, lasers, shears, saws, and other shop equipment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Communicate effectively with management and shop personnel regarding daily work assignments, operational needs, and safety concerns. Maintain the organization of shop materials, supplies, and equipment to support efficient operations. Work collaboratively with fabrication personnel and production staff to support workflow and production objectives. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Forklift certification or previous forklift operating experience preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, or general labor environment is preferred, but not required. Able to meet MVR requirements to be an authorized driver. Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability and willingness to learn new skills, equipment, and processes. Ability to work independently and collaboratively while communicating effectively with management and shop personnel. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Pay:

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
