Job Description
Looking for an administrative role where you can stay busy, interact with a variety of people, and be part of a fun, fast-moving environment? One of our clients in the education space is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is a well-rounded administrative position supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy school. You'll interact with students, families, staff, and visitors while helping manage records, schedules, communications, events, transportation, and other administrative needs. If you enjoy variety and being the person who keeps things organized behind the scenes, this could be a great fit. What You'll Be Doing Support daily front office operations and serve as a welcoming point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors Maintain accurate student attendance, enrollment, contact, and academic records Communicate with families regarding attendance, scheduling changes, early dismissals, and other school-related updates Assist with new student registration, transcript requests, and general recordkeeping Coordinate schedules, transportation, events, field trips, and other school activities Provide administrative support for athletics and extracurricular programs, including schedules, registrations, rosters, and event logistics Maintain accurate documentation and assist with reporting and data integrity Answer and route phone calls, respond to questions, and help direct requests to the appropriate person Support school leadership with projects, correspondence, scheduling, and other administrative needs Handle confidential student and school information with discretion Take ownership of processes and look for opportunities to make day-to-day operations more organized and efficient Jump in on special projects and additional office responsibilities as needed
