Entry Level IT Technician (Office & Special Events Support)

New Orleans, Louisiana Type:
Full-Time (Part-Time considered for the right candidate)
Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour (DOE)

The Role:
We are looking for a motivated Entry Level IT Technician to join our team. This is a unique opportunity that blends traditional office IT support with on-site field work and special event setup. You won't be stuck behind a desk every day!
What You'll Do:
•
General Support:
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for small business clients.
•
Networking:
Assist with setting up and maintaining networks of various sizes.
•
Systems Management:
Handle remote access tools, enterprise printing/scanning, and VoIP phone systems.
•
Cloud Admin:
Manage Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 user accounts.
•
Special Events:
Assist with IT and AV setup for events. This involves outdoor work, walking, and physical setup.
Requirements:

Technical Aptitude:
Basic knowledge of computers and networks is required, but a strong interest in learning is most important.
•
Self-Starter:
You must be able to take a task and follow it through to completion without constant supervision.
•
Physical Ability:
Must be willing to walk, lift equipment, and work outdoors during event setups.
•
Schedule:
Standard Monday-Friday hours. Must be available for occasional weekend work (approx. 2-4 weekends per year) for special projects. Must have own vehicle to travel to site locations. Why Apply?
