Build Expertise. Own Your Work. Do you like figuring out why something isn't working—not just making the problem go away? Fraser Advanced Information Systems is looking for a Service Technician in the Philadelphia area who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and becoming an expert at the equipment they service. This is a hands-on field role where you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain business technology at customer locations throughout the Philadelphia area. You'll have technical training, documentation, service bulletins, experienced teammates, and Tech Support available—but you'll also have the independence to manage your calls and take ownership of your results. What You'll Do Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical equipment issues Identify root causes and complete repairs accurately Perform preventative maintenance according to established standards Manage your daily service calls and priorities independently Use technical documentation, data, service bulletins, and Tech Support to solve problems Clearly document diagnoses, repairs, and customer information Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams Continuously build your technical and product knowledge What We're Looking For You may be a strong fit if you: Enjoy troubleshooting and understanding how equipment works Pay attention to details and prefer doing the job correctly the first time Work well independently and take ownership of your responsibilities Are dependable, organized, and comfortable following proven procedures Like learning new technology and developing deeper technical expertise Qualifications include: Technical school training, military electronics experience, or comparable hands-on technical experience Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude Valid driver's license Ability to read and apply technical information and service procedures Ability to drive and travel approximately 90% of the workday Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
