Job Description
SecurShred Service Bureau specializes in converting paper documents to electronic files. Working with digital material is also a part of the daily workflow. Our mission is to provide our customers with high quality product while managing available sources in efficient manner and creating positive work environment . Currently, we have opening for Document Imaging Technician. The position requires 40 hours/week availability, Monday through Friday. Service Bureau generally operates from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Document Imaging Technician's duties include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Document Prep - reviewing paper files and/or electronic files and performing variety of operations as needed to prepare the paper documents for scanning/digital processing. 2. Document Scan - processing paper documents through high-speed scanner. 3. Indexing - key entering information/applying document naming convention. Other related duties may be assigned. To function effectively within the Department, the candidate should match following profile: 1. Be punctual and present at work within scheduled work hours. 2. Be able to present attention to details, tidiness and organizing skills, eye to hand coordination and accuracy. 3. Be able to read instructions in English and follow directions of how to handle documents for individual projects, learn and follow procedures, specific to each job. 4. Be able to operate and use office tools and equipment like, for example, staple remover, paper cutter, printer, copier, etc. 5. Be able to collaborate in a team but also perform work independently in order to complete projects and meet deadlines. 6. Must present time management skills. The job involves signing in and out of production logs, separately for each project, tracking time dedicated to assignment and completing the task in timely manner, according to the project guidelines, while providing quality product. 7. Must be able to communicate with project manager and adopt any changes in procedures quickly and effectively. This job involves sitting/standing and repetitive motions, and lifting boxes up to 35 lb.
