Mailroom Floater
Mailroom Floater - JLLWhat this job involves:
We're looking for a reliable and service-oriented Mailroom Associate (Floater) to join our facility operations team in Reston, Virginia. In this role, you'll serve as the backbone of our mail and distribution services, ensuring seamless communication flow across our client site while providing critical support to multiple office locations. As a floater, you'll be the go-to professional who keeps mail moving efficiently, office supplies stocked, and facilities running smoothly. Your dedication to white-glove service and ability to adapt quickly across locations will directly support JLL's commitment to operational excellence and exceptional workplace experiences.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Manage all incoming and outgoing mail operations by receiving USPS and courier packages, sorting and distributing mail same-day, processing outgoing shipments through Fed-Ex, UPS, and USPS, and resolving delivery issues with incorrect or returned mail.
Maintain facility supplies and equipment by stocking copy rooms with paper, toner, and office supplies, servicing copy machines and resolving paper jams, organizing break rooms with coffee supplies, and maintaining daily cleanliness of shared spaces.
Monitor facility conditions by conducting regular facility walks, logging Corrigo work orders for building issues such as damaged carpet or ceiling tiles, responding to assigned tickets within due dates, and communicating with the Facility Manager on complex issues requiring extensions.
Track and report daily operations by logging all tasks and activities on Volume Reports and submitting weekly reports to the Lead to ensure accountability and workflow transparency.
Provide flexible location coverage by traveling to support mailroom and reception operations at other local sites including Arlington, Alexandria, and Chantilly, Virginia as business needs require.
Execute employee move services and special projects as directed by the Facility Manager while adhering to internal procedures and the Mail Services National Playbook.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 1-2 years of experience in mailroom operations, facilities support, or related customer service roles
- Secret level security clearance or ability to obtain clearance
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable personal transportation for travel between sites
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with proven ability to deliver white-glove, professional service in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Corrigo or similar facility management software systems
- Knowledge of reprographic equipment operations and basic troubleshooting capabilities
- Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities and time management skills that allow effective prioritization of multiple simultaneous duties
- High attention to detail with ability to maintain accuracy while working efficiently
- Physical capability to remain on feet throughout the workday with good hand-eye coordination, and ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds

Estimated compensation for this position: 48,920.00 - 49,920.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.Location:
