Responsibilities Load and unload packages using appropriate materials handling equipment such as forklifts and manual tools Sort shipments accurately according to destination and shipping instructions Operate automatic inserting machines for mail processing and shipment assembly Conduct shipment sorting and verify contents against shipping documents Maintain organized warehouse distribution areas and ensure proper filing of shipping records Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, including preparing packages for outbound delivery Perform data entry related to inventory management and shipment tracking Support warehouse operations by performing heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely Ensure compliance with safety protocols during outdoor work and indoor activities Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency and customer service standards Skills Experience operating forklift and other material handling equipment safely and effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry, reporting, and communication Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, shipment sorting, and warehouse operations Manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy packages regularly Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations Experience with mail distribution, mail processing, and automatic inserting machines is a plus Customer service orientation to assist team members and support operational needs Outdoor work experience preferred for tasks involving outdoor storage or loading areas Ability to perform filing, shipping & receiving duties accurately and promptly Join us as a Package Handler where your energy fuels our success! $18.50 - $22.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
