Job Description:
Function of Position:
Be able to take directions from management, Be able to demonstrate reliability and professionalism Be on time for work (punctuality) Be able to show good work ethics Be able to work independently Be able to have strong communication skills This position is funded exclusively through Federal Work Study (FWS). Applicants must be approved by the Financial Aid Office for FWS eligibility prior to being considered for employment. Required Qualifications:
To open or close NSEC (Learning Center) To greet students and ensure they sign into the Attendance kiosk To assist management in carrying out administrative tasks To maintain NSEC in good order To have a good understanding of inventory in storage room and order items as needed Must be currently enrolled as a student at Monroe Community College Must maintain satisfactory academic progress and be in good academic standing Federal Work Study eligibility is required for FWS-funded positions (must be approved by the Financial Aid Office prior to hire)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently Experience in Graphic Design tools such as CANVA, Adobe Express Experience managing or contributing to a social media account for an organization or student group
