Job Summary A Mailroom Associate opportunity is available in Lackawanna County PA area for an experienced administrative support professional with a strong background in mailroom operations, document handling, and production support. This temp-to-hire role is ideal for someone who enjoys organized, hands-on work in a fast-paced printing and publishing environment. The Mailroom Associate will support daily mail processing, sorting, distribution, and related clerical tasks that help keep operations running accurately and on schedule. Key Responsibilities
  • Sort, process, prepare, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and printed materials.
  • Support mailroom production workflows, including labeling, inserting, batching, scanning, and document handling.
  • Maintain accurate records of mail activity, shipments, inventory, and related administrative documentation.
  • Operate basic mailroom, printing, postage, or office equipment according to established procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery, proper routing, and accurate completion of requests.
  • Keep the mailroom organized, clean, and compliant with safety and operational standards. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay range: $47,000 to $49,000 per year.

    Moosic, PA. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Manage daily mailroom processing, sorting, distribution, and documentation.
  • Support printing and publishing production workflows through accurate document handling and mailing preparation.
  • Operate mailroom and office equipment while maintaining quality, accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
  • Communicate with internal teams to complete time-sensitive requests and resolve mail or document routing issues.
  • 3 to 5 years of recent and relevant mailroom, administrative support, clerical, shipping, receiving, print production, or document processing experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to organize mail, documents, packages, and workflow priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using basic office systems, scanners, printers, postage equipment, and related mailroom tools.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to follow established processes and safety procedures.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, team-oriented approach. Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous and recent experience in a printing, publishing, direct mail, fulfillment, or production environment.
  • Familiarity with postal procedures, shipping documentation, tracking systems, or mail preparation standards.
  • Experience supporting high-volume mailroom or document processing operations.
