This is a Seasonal Helper position with Pony Express, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver Amazon packages. DSPs are independent businesses that partner with Amazon to deliver packages. Our Delivery Drivers and Helpers strive to get every Amazon order to the customer. We need reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment! Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. Successful delivery employees enjoy being out on the road, put safety first and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction. NOT a driving position, Helper will assist in riding with a driver as a 2 person team to load and unload packages from truck.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Successfully handle and deliver packages on time Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs . on a frequent basis; tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs . on and off a hand truck without a helper ona frequent basis; maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs ., using material handling equipment, or up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and to communicate with supervisors and other team members Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old Must hold a Valid ID Must be authorized to work in the United States Must successfully pass a background check Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills Must be able to ride passenger seat on delivery truck to assist in loading and unloading packages for delivery
