Duties Sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail using manual handling techniques and automatic inserting machines Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to load, unload, and move shipments safely within the warehouse Conduct shipment sorting, shipping & receiving tasks, and maintain accurate data entry records for all mail transactions Manage warehouse distribution activities including filing, organization, and documentation to ensure efficient workflow Perform heavy lifting and outdoor work as needed to load or unload packages and materials from trucks or storage areas Utilize Microsoft Office tools to track shipments, update logs, and generate reports for inventory management Support customer service efforts by addressing internal requests related to mail processing and delivery Experience Prior warehouse experience with a focus on materials handling, shipment sorting, or warehouse operations is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to operate forklift and material handling equipment safely and efficiently Experience with automatic inserting machines or other shipping & receiving technology is a plus Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory tracking and data entry accuracy Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, documentation, and warehouse layout management Outdoor work experience that demonstrates physical stamina and adaptability in various weather conditions Basic math skills necessary for measurements, counts, and shipment calculations This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in warehouse distribution while contributing to a fast-paced logistics environment.
