is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mailroom Coordinator to support daily mail and document distribution activities across our organization. As a global provider of business, healthcare, and information technology solutions serving the Department of Defense, Federal agencies, commercial clients, and nonprofit organizations, we rely on efficient communication and document handling. This position plays an important role in ensuring mail, packages, and internal correspondence are processed accurately and delivered on time. Job Overview The Mailroom Coordinator is responsible for receiving, sorting, processing, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and packages while maintaining organized records and supporting office operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional internal customer service. Responsibilities Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and courier deliveries. Prepare outgoing mail, packages, and shipping labels. Coordinate shipments through approved carriers. Maintain accurate mail logs and delivery records. Organize mailroom supplies and monitor inventory levels. Operate postage meters, scanners, and shipping equipment. Assist with document preparation, filing, and administrative support. Ensure confidential documents are handled securely. Communicate with internal departments regarding deliveries and shipment requests. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient mailroom environment. Follow company procedures and workplace safety guidelines. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software. Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 40 pounds. Strong organizational and time management skills. Reliable attendance and professional communication skills. Preferred Skills Excellent attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. Strong customer service mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to confidentiality and accuracy.
Pay:
$22.30 - $23.30 per hour
