Job Description

We are looking for a dependable Receptionist to support daily front office operations at a corporate office for an automotive company in Cordova, Tennessee. This contract-to-permanent position is well suited for someone who enjoys working in a small office setting, communicates clearly, and is ready to take on a variety of administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate brings a service-minded approach, strong reliability, and comfort using standard office software while helping create a welcoming experience for visitors, applicants, and staff.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome applicants, visitors, and team members with a detail-oriented and friendly presence while maintaining an organized front office environment.
  • Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts, and take accurate messages when needed.
  • Handle routine administrative support such as preparing documents, sending and receiving faxes, and assisting with general office coordination.
  • Respond to basic questions and concerns with strong customer service skills, helping resolve minor issues in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Support office leadership during periodic onsite visits by ensuring reception and administrative needs are handled smoothly.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, to complete correspondence, track information, and assist with day-to-day office tasks.
  • Adapt to changing priorities in a small team environment and assist with additional duties that contribute to efficient office operations.
