Veterinary Receptionist

You will be the first point of contact, managing appointments, handling pet-related inquiries, and supporting veterinary staff with essential administrative tasks. Duties Greet clients warmly and assist them with check-in, check-out, and appointment scheduling Manage medical billing and collections efficiently, ensuring accurate processing of payments Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about services, appointments, and pet care advice Maintain detailed records of patient histories, treatments, and laboratory results using veterinary software Coordinate kennel assignments, ensuring pets are comfortable and properly cared for during their stay Support animal husbandry activities by assisting with feeding, grooming, and basic restraint procedures Assist veterinary team with critical care tasks such as animal catheterization, restraint, and administering medications Experience Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal shelter setting is highly preferred Familiarity with veterinary terminology, laboratory procedures, and aseptic techniques Hands-on experience with animal handling, including dog training and pet grooming skills Knowledge of animal anatomy and restraint techniques to ensure safety during examinations or procedures Experience in kennel management or pet care roles involving animal husbandry or equine experience is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and their families!
