Responsibilities:
Greet and check in/out patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor Verify insurance coverage and handle necessary paperwork efficiently Assist with rescheduling appointments due to schedule changes Maintain and update patient records, including demographics and insurance information. Assist with accounts receivable collections, and set up payment terms for Patients. Answer phones, redirect calls to appropriate colleagues, and process various documents including business and government forms. Keep the front desk area clean and organized, and ensure departmental printers and copiers are operating properly, alerting management when repairs are needed.
Qualificaitons:
Previous front office or medical office experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy
