Veterinary Receptionist - Fear Free™ Certified Clinic Fayetteville, AR Are you passionate about animals and love helping people? We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Mount Comfort Veterinary Care , the only Fear Free™ Certified small animal practice in the state of Arkansas. As a veterinary receptionist, you are often the first and last impression of our clinic—and you play a vital role in creating a welcoming, calm, and efficient experience for both clients and their pets.
What You'll Do:
Serve as the first point of contact for clients in person and over the phone Provide excellent high quality customer service with empathy and professionalism Support timely communication between clients and our medical team Track and follow up on client messages, refill requests, and appointment needs Offer Fear Free™ tips for home care and travel to help set pets up for successful, low-stress visits Help manage front desk operations, appointment scheduling, and payments Monitor incoming email and online pharmacy requests Keep the lobby and exam rooms tidy, clean, and Fear Free™ ready Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and maintaining records
What We're Looking For:
Someone who is organized , proactive, and follows through on tasks Comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment and prioritizing responsibilities Familiarity with veterinary terminology A true team player with strong communication, strong customer service skills and a love for animals Previous experience in a veterinary or medical setting is required Experience with multi line phones If you enjoy connecting with people, and want to be part of a team that prioritizes low-stress veterinary visits and high quality veterinary care, we'd love to meet you!
Pay:
$14.50 - $17.00 per hour
