Overview We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and requires a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner. Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate staff members or taking accurate messages. Perform insurance verification and maintain up-to-date patient records. Utilize dental terminology effectively to assist patients with inquiries related to their care. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and processing paperwork. Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible. Assist with data entry using 10 key typing skills for efficient record keeping. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication. Utilize Meditech software for patient management and record keeping. Provide bilingual support to patients as needed, enhancing communication for non-English speaking clients. Qualifications Previous experience as a dental receptionist is preferred. Familiarity with insurance verification processes and dental terminology is highly desirable. Strong administrative skills with proficiency in using office equipment and software applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this will enhance patient interactions. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
