Job Description

The Studance Lab is looking for an experienced, dependable, and professional Front Desk Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, communicating confidently with adults, staying organized, and keeping a busy office running smoothly. The Front Desk Administrator is often the first person our families interact with, so we are looking for someone who is warm, welcoming, mature, and comfortable handling a wide range of responsibilities throughout each shift. Position Details Part-time In-person only Approximately 20 hours per week Weekday evening and Saturday availability required Current anticipated schedule includes Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings Starting pay: $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience Bilingual in English and Spanish is required Responsibilities Welcome dancers, parents, and visitors into the studio Answer phone calls, emails, text messages, and in-person questions Assist families with class information, trials, registrations, and enrollments Process payments and merchandise purchases Explain studio policies and procedures clearly and professionally Handle parent concerns with patience, empathy, and confidence Maintain accurate records and update family information as needed Open and close the studio Prepare the front desk and studio for daily operations Restock merchandise and studio supplies Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby Support teachers and team members as needed Complete daily administrative tasks and follow-up communication Help ensure the studio is prepared for the following day The Right Person for This Role Communicates professionally and confidently with adults Enjoys working around children and families Remains calm and respectful during difficult conversations Is dependable, punctual, and consistent Takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly Can manage several tasks at once without becoming overwhelmed Notices when something needs attention and takes appropriate action Is comfortable working independently during assigned shifts Follows instructions carefully and asks questions when needed Has strong attention to detail Is comfortable using computers, phones, email, payment systems, and office technology Maintains a professional and welcoming appearance Values teamwork, communication, and a positive workplace culture Required Qualifications Fluent in English and Spanish Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, office, or customer service experience Experience communicating with customers, parents, patients, or clients by phone and in person Reliable transportation Availability for weekday evening and Saturday morning shifts Comfortable working in a fast-paced, family-focused environment Ability to stand, walk, clean, restock, and move throughout the studio during a shift Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following environments is strongly preferred: School office Medical or dental office Church office Dance, gymnastics, or youth activity facility Dealership reception Administrative office Customer service or retail management About The Studance Lab The Studance Lab is a dance studio serving children and families in Avondale, Arizona. Schedule Candidates must be available for weekday evening and Saturday shifts. Typical weekday shifts may run approximately: 2:30 PM-9:30 PM Typical Saturday shifts may run approximately: 8:00 AM-2:00 PM The final weekly schedule will be discussed during the interview process and will remain consistent once established.
