The Front Desk Receptionist is the first impression of Mountain View Pain Center and plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient patient experience, in either English or Spanish. This role supports clinic operations by managing patient flow, scheduling appointments, coordinating care, and ensuring clear communication across departments. You'll serve as a key point of contact for patients—both in person and over the phone—while maintaining accurate records, handling insurance information, and supporting smooth daily clinic operations.What You'll Do:
Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and compassion Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using clinic software systems Answer incoming calls and provide accurate, timely information to patients and callers Make outbound calls to reschedule appointments and meet minimum call attempt expectations Coordinate appointment transitions for patients with multiple same-day visits Facilitate Uber transportation for Personal Injury (PI) patients when needed Collect and verify insurance information and process payments as required Scan, upload, and maintain accurate patient documentation Communicate promptly and effectively with clinical and administrative teams Notify medical staff of patient arrivals and support patient flow throughout the clinic Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front reception area Support general administrative tasks as assigned Minimum Experience & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred Minimum 1 year experience as a medical receptionist in a fast paced environment Minimum 1 year experience with medical scheduling Strong customer service skills and patient-first mindset Proficient computer and typing skills Bilingual in Spanish and English Access to reliable transportation Ability to Pass aTB Test Compensation & Schedule Pay Range:
