This position is the first point of contact for our clients and plays an important role in keeping our daily boarding and daycare operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a busy environment, communicates well with customers and coworkers, and genuinely enjoys being around dogs and other pets. Responsibilities Greet customers and pets in a friendly and professional manner Check pets in and out for boarding, daycare, and other services Answer phones, respond to customer questions, and schedule reservations Review feeding instructions, medications, belongings, and special care instructions with pet owners Enter and maintain accurate customer and pet information in our reservation system Process payments and provide receipts Communicate important information to kennel and pet-care staff Contact customers when additional information or clarification is needed Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Comfortable using computers, phones, and scheduling software Comfortable working around dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Able to communicate clearly about medications, feeding instructions, and special pet-care needs Previous receptionist, customer service, veterinary, boarding, daycare, or pet-care experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person What We're Looking For We want someone who is reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented. Our front desk can get busy, so being able to prioritize tasks while maintaining great customer service is important. Because we are a pet resort, applicants should understand that the work environment includes barking dogs, pet hair, occasional messes, and active animals.Pay:
