Job Description

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients both in person and over the phone. The Cat Hospital is a well-respected cat only clinic. If you have a passion for felines, we are the perfect place for you! You'll play a key role in supporting our veterinary team by managing appointments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival Answer and manage incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner Schedule appointments and follow-ups efficiently Process payments and maintain accurate financial records Keep client and patient records up to date in our system Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, wait times, and pet care instructions Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front office area Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a veterinary or medical reception setting preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes emotionally charged environment Proficiency with computers and scheduling software A genuine love for animals and empathy for pet owners
