Front Desk Receptionist for The Chateau of Long Beach (RCFE)
Schedule:
(Thurs & Fri, 9am-5:30pm) The Chateau of Long Beach is an assisted living community for the elderly (ages 59+) located in Long Beach, CA. We are currently seeking a hardworking, knowledgeable, experienced, flexible receptionist that is willing to learn and help out with other positions at the facility as needed, such as transportation or activities. Qualifications (non-negotiable): Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance High school diploma or GED required Flexible scheduling. Position may include weekends and holidays California Driver s License Reception/Office experience preferredDuties:
- Answers, screens, routes and directs all incoming and internal telephone calls, messages and information, including staff mobile phone calls, walkie-talkies, and emergency calls. Greet, assist and direct residents, guests and vendors.
- Maintain, assist with, or administer: Office files, resident files, marketing materials, admission packets, rosters, menu and database updates, incoming and outgoing mail and services, all logbooks, transportation schedules, etc.
- Oversees, administers and communicates all security and emergency systems and 911 calls.
- Monitor resident activity in front lobby, control flow of traffic, monitor first impression items, and ensure residents unable to leave facility unassisted do not leave without assistance.
- Secretarial and administrative support for Administrator and Coordinators.
