The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, creating a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for individuals of all backgrounds. This role requires outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple administrative responsibilities efficiently, and a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered service. The successful candidate will be skilled in de-escalating challenging situations with professionalism, empathy, and discretion while maintaining a calm and positive atmosphere. Bilingual abilities, prior front desk experience, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service are highly valued. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in. Complete administrative tasks in an organized and efficient manner. Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, providing accurate information and assistance Handle patient inquiries, appointments, and counselor requests to ensure a positive experience Assist with FEMALE patient drug testing . This role involves direct observation and assistance with female patient drug testing; therefore, the position requires a female staff member to ensure patient privacy and compliance. Uphold HIPPA protections and MELA policies and procedures related to patient services and security Qualifications Welcoming customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele Knowledge of front desk procedures is a plus Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Professional appearance and demeanor with strong communication skills
