This role involves managing front-office duties with an emphasis on client service, confidentiality, and executive-level communication. The position will be approximately five (5) months but does have the opportunity to be permanent for the right person. Duties As a Receptionist, your responsibilities will include: Greet clients, vendors, and guests in a professional manner. Answer and route incoming calls using a multi-line phone system. Ask screening questions to identify appropriate legal issues. Communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and office staff to relay messages. Schedule client meetings, consultations, and conference room bookings. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and court documents. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby and conference room. Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, scanning, or data entry. Ordering and replenishing office supplies. Managing the maintenance and repair of office equipment. Ensure all client and case information remains confidential.
Experience Qualified candidates should have:
At least 1 year of receptionist or administrative experience in an office setting. Prior experience as a legal receptionist will be advantageous. Proficient use of various software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google Office Suite. Some familiarity with legal terms and documents. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
