In the Estate Support Staff position, you will be responsible for warmly welcoming guests with water service, clearing empty plates, replenishing table supplies, ensuring timely plate delivery, and accommodating special requests—all to create a seamless and memorable experience. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a luxury tasting room with opportunities to expand your wine knowledge and service with our Lewis Team. This role is vital to our service standards and success.
This position can accommodate either a part-time or full-time schedule, depending on the candidate's availability and scheduling needs. Weekend (Friday - Sunday) and holiday availability, as well as flexibility to work evening shifts as needed required.
Job DescriptionClear tables after guests leave, transporting glassware and tableware to the kitchen, and placing silverware, dishes, and glassware in designated areas for washingPromptly clean tabletops, chairs, and banquettes between seatingsReset and arrange tabletops; check and clean floors as neededInspect restrooms every 30 minutes, cleaning and restocking as necessaryRespond promptly to guest requests and communicate them to servers or a manager immediatelyRestock wine, merchandise, and collateral materials as neededAssist with pre- and post-shift setup and cleanupQualificationsPrevious experience in a tasting room or restaurant setting is preferred but not requiredRBS and Food Handler Certifications required, or must be willing to complete certifications independently and at personal cost shortly upon hirePossesses a flexible schedule and able to work weekends, evenings, and holidaysAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsComfort working in varying environments, including vineyards, cellars, and event spacesMust be able to speak, read, write, and understand EnglishStrong interest in customer service and an appreciation for wineAttention to detail to ensure dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitizedPrevious dishwashing experience preferred, but not requiredHas a professional appearance and demeanorStrong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage priorities and tasksVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmUses good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisionsAbility to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgroundsWillingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a teamHigh school diploma or equivalent is a plus

Pay Range:
$21.00 - $24.00 an hour, and will be included in the tip pool. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.Additional Information Full-time employment is required for eligibility for healthcare benefits (medical, dental and vision coverage).
