Responsibilities:

Greet clients and their pets with a friendly, professional demeanor upon arrival Schedule and confirm appointments using veterinary practice management software Answer multi-line phone systems, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to veterinary staff Process client payments, invoices, and insurance claims accurately Maintain and update patient medical records and client information Communicate discharge instructions and follow-up care information to pet owners Manage waiting room flow and ensure a calm, clean front desk environment

Requirements:

Prior experience in a veterinary, medical, or customer-facing receptionist role required Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, client-focused attitude Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy, high-energy clinic setting Proficiency with scheduling software, email, and basic computer applications Comfort handling sensitive situations, including end-of-life care conversations, with empathy Reliable, punctual, and a true team player with a positive attitude Genuine love for animals and dedication to their health and well-being
