Job Summary Tailoring Studio & Alterations is a professional, family-owned tailoring business specializing in clothing alterations, formalwear, bridal gowns, suits, and custom tailoring. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable person to join our team and provide an excellent experience for every customer. Responsibilities Greet customers Answer phone calls, text messages, and customer inquiries Schedule fittings, consultations, drop-offs, and pickups Check garments in and out and maintain accurate order information Explain services, estimated pricing, turnaround times, and shop policies Take measurements and assist with basic fitting preparation when trained Process payments and maintain accurate customer records Contact customers regarding order status, fittings, and pickups Coordinate customer communication with our tailors Keep the front desk and customer area organized and professional Handle customer concerns calmly and professionally Assist with daily administrative tasks and shop organization Help promote a welcoming, polished, and professional atmosphere Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Friendly, warm, and professional Excellent at communicating with customers Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable answering phones and managing multiple customers Confident using computers and scheduling/order-management systems Comfortable handling payments Able to learn garment terminology and basic alterations Professional in appearance and communication Able to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience in tailoring, alterations, bridal, fashion, retail, or customer service is a plus Fluent english and russian What We Offer Part-time position to start , with the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and business needs Starting pay of $18/hour , with periodic performance evaluations and opportunities for pay increases Professional and friendly work environment Opportunity to learn about tailoring, alterations, bridal gowns, and custom clothing Opportunity for professional growth and advancement within the business Family-owned business with a personal, supportive, and team-oriented atmosphere
