Ballet Academy & Movement (BAMS) is a thriving, family-oriented dance studio dedicated to excellence, artistry, and community. We're looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Desk Receptionist and Administrative Assistant to join our team and help our studio shine!
Responsibilities:
After school hours 3:15-8:15pm. (up to 12 hours per week) Looking for 2-3 people to help us with the front desk and admin. Oversee daily open/close tasks and maintain a tidy, welcoming environment. Greet families and students warmly; provide excellent customer service. Handle student check-in/out and daily attendance tracking. Capture and upload class photos/videos for social media (training provided). Support teachers by preparing studios, maintaining cleanliness, and restocking supplies. Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist with parent questions. Process payments, update class enrollments, and ensure tuition accuracy. Assist with special events, performances, and parent communications.
Qualifications:
Friendly, professional, and reliable. Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Computer skills (email, spreadsheets, social media familiarity). Experience in customer service, administration, youth activities, and/or performing arts preferred. Past dance experience preferred. Must be able to pass background check to work with children.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 3:15-8:15 PM Friday 10:15-11:30 AM Saturday 8:45 AM-12:15/2:15 PM depending on Nutcracker rehearsals
Compensation:
$20/hour (opportunity for growth into a management role based on performance).
