Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Spa receptionist will schedule appointment, prescreen customers on daily basis and greet, assist, and provide directions and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the Spa.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Open/Close the spa, review appointments, and prepare reception area. Check clients' records and inventory to make sure all supplies and equipment are ready for the day. Ensure the treatment rooms are clean, stocked up and ready for use. Check the communication log for any updates or messages from the previous night. Address any maintenance issues in the spa. Conduct a brief meeting with the staff to discuss the day's schedule, any client special requests, or any internal announcements. Prepare sales materials, set up client refreshments, unlock key areas, check restrooms. Work closely with Operation Manager on scheduling appointment and prescreening the customers on daily basis. Close out Sales, manage appointments and client records. Clean up the reception and waiting areas daily and the equipment as needed. Secure the spa and prepare the end of the day report. Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each persons' visit and directs or escorts him/her to the appropriate location. Answers, screens, and takes messages and schedule appointments. Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items. Performs administrative and clerical supports tasks. Performs basic filing and recordkeeping. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, customer service and sales skillset. Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite or related software. Fluent speaking in
Spanish/English Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1-2 years in customer services and scheduling appointments experience is a must.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk. Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
