MWC plays a critical role in the region's mental health ecosystem, working collaboratively with public agencies, healthcare providers, housing partners, and community organizations to create a more responsive and compassionate continuum of care. The Role MWC is seeking a warm, dependable, and organized Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of connection for clients, family members, community partners, vendors, and visitors. This position is a great fit for someone looking for meaningful part-time work with a consistent 20-hour schedule and the flexibility to maintain balance outside of work. Responsibilities include:
Greeting and assisting clients, visitors, vendors, and community members Answering and routing incoming calls and providing general information Connecting individuals with the appropriate MWC programs, services, or staff Managing mail, deliveries, conference room scheduling, and reception materials Supporting basic administrative and bookkeeping tasks Maintaining an organized and welcoming front-desk and common-area environment Assisting with meetings, events, and organizational projects as needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is approachable, dependable, service-oriented, and comfortable interacting with people from a variety of backgrounds. You can remain calm when the office is busy, manage interruptions with professionalism, and take pride in helping things run smoothly.
Qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent Fluent in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Previous front-desk, receptionist, customer-service, or administrative experience preferred Experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral-health, or client-centered setting is a plus Schedule and Availability This is an in-person position scheduled for approximately 20 hours per week during MWC's regular business hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional evening availability may be needed to support organizational meetings or special events.
