Marin City Animal Hospital is a new veterinary practice opening in Sausalito, CA, this September. We are excited to build a dedicated team that shares our passion for providing exceptional care to pets. We are looking for a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join us and help us create a welcoming environment for our clients and their beloved pets. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, playing a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check in clients and their pets with a warm and professional demeanor Answer phone calls and schedule appointments efficiently and according to Hospital Protocols Process payments and manage client accounts Provide information to clients about our services, procedures, and products Handle client inquiries and resolve issues in a courteous manner Maintain a clean and organized reception area Assist with managing patient records and other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist is required Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of veterinary medical terminology Proficiency with computer systems and office software Compassionate and attentive to the needs of both animals and their owners

SCHEDULE/ SHIFTS NEEDED

Coverage for Fridays 8am-7pm Saturdays 8am-4pm and/or Sundays 8am-4pm Mondays 8am-7pm Also up for discussion.
