Job Summary We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist Lead to be the welcoming face of our clinic. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, provide exceptional customer service, and support daily administrative functions to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace. Responsibilities Manage the front desk team to greet patiients, visitors, and vendors warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly Maintain a tidy and organized waiting area Train the new front desk receptionists on EHR sytem and clinic protocols Assist management with staff evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Handle escalated patient complaints, scheduling conflicts, and internal operational issues. Oversee patient check-in and check-out processes to keep wait times low and the clinic on schedule. Adhere to confidentialities and patient privacy protocols in accorance with HIPAA requirements and Foundation's established policies and procedures. Answer phone calls and address complex patient inquiries. Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable to serve diverse patients effectively Guide staff throught complex insurance verifications and co-pay collections. Work independently and collaboratively with other staff Other duties as may be assigned Qualifications Attention to Details Flexible wirh work schedule and work loctions 2-3 years of experience in a medical front desk or clinical administration role. Bilingual with combination of English/Chinese or English/Spanish preferred Experience with FQHC and eClinicalWorks preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology, health insurance types (PPO, HMO, Medi-Cal, Medicare), and HIPAA laws. Ability to multitask, manage stress, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Education High School diploma or GED required, Associate degree or Bachelor degree preferred.
Pay:
$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
