Receptionist / Office Assistant / Runner Maas and Russo, LLP Vallejo, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Spanish Teamwork Confidential information handling Phone communication English Driver's License Attention to detail Full Job Description Maas & Russo, LLP, a criminal defense firm serving Solano County, is seeking a Receptionist/Office Assistant/Runner to serve as the first point of contact for our clients, to support daily office operations, and to handle court filings and local errands on behalf of the firm.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a lunch break from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. This is an in-office position. Responsibilities Open and close the office each business day Answer, screen, and route incoming calls professionally and promptly Greet clients and visitors and manage the reception area Make court runs for filing and retrieval of documents, and complete other local errands as assigned Take accurate, complete messages and deliver them to the appropriate staff Assist with scanning, filing, copying, and organizing client documents Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries Maintain the office in a clean, orderly, and presentable condition throughout the day Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff as assigned Qualifications Valid California driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance Bilingual English/Spanish, spoken and written Strong attention to detail and accuracy in written work Professional, clear telephone communication skills Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Willingness to learn legal terminology and court procedures Reliable attendance and punctuality Prior office experience preferred; legal office experience a plus but not required Compensation & Benefits $20-25.50/hour Mileage reimbursement at the current IRS standard rate for firm-related travel during the workday; daily commute to and from the office is not reimbursed Training in legal terminology, court processes, and firm systems A small, collaborative office where your work is visible and valued To apply, submit your resume and a brief cover note to .
