Job Description
We are a fun group of hardworking people in need a team player who can clearly communicate and keep a positive attitude to join our fast-paced, busy veterinary practice. Candidate should have customer service experience and the ability to handle a busy phone system, be capable of clear, compassionate client communication, and preferably have veterinary or medical office experience.
Some of the tasks required:
- Answering phones
- Charting in electronic medical record system
- Scheduling appointments
- Sending and receiving patient records
- Filling prescriptions
- Discussing preventive health care issues and products with clients
- Assisting DVM's and Technicians with various tasks
- Performing in-clinic laboratory diagnostic tests
- Patient restraint in exam rooms and treatment room
- Walking dogs
- Cleaning kennels
- Other tasks as needed
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely
- Must have reliable transportation
