Job Description

Skin! Medical Aesthetics |
Denver, CO Location:
In person, RiNo/Five Points Job type: Full time
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 9am to 6pm
Compensation:
$30 per hour with overtime Additional compensation: Quarterly performance bonus
Benefits:
2 weeks paid time off per year, 401K, staff skin treatments monthly, staff injectable treatments quarterly, retail skincare products at cost. Be the face of Skin! A great patient experience starts before anyone enters a treatment room. It starts with the person who answers the phone, remembers a name, explains the next step, and makes someone feel comfortable walking through our door. We're looking for an experienced Front Desk Receptionist & Client Relations Specialist to be that person at Skin! Medical Aesthetics. We are a physician-led medical aesthetics practice in Denver focused on personalized treatment plans, skin health, and natural-looking results. Our patients put a lot of trust in us, and every member of our team plays a part in earning it. The right person for this role is warm, organized, dependable, and comfortable with sales. You enjoy connecting with people, know how to guide a conversation toward a booking or purchase without being pushy, and can keep track of the details when the phone is ringing and a patient is waiting to check out. At least three years of client relations or customer-facing experience, previous front desk experience, and sales experience are required. Medical office or aesthetics experience is preferred. What you'll do Create a welcoming patient experience. Greet patients, check them in, confirm their intake paperwork is complete, and communicate with providers about arrivals and appointment needs. Assist with checkout, collect payments accurately, and help patients schedule their next visit. Make sure each person feels acknowledged and cared for—not like another appointment on the calendar. Manage appointments and communication. Answer phone calls, respond to patient messages and emails, book appointments, and manage cancellations, appointment changes, and rebooking. Explain scheduling and payment policies clearly and professionally. Handle routine questions and concerns with patience, and direct medical questions to the appropriate clinical team member. Support bookings, sales, and patient follow-through. Help prospective patients understand how to get started at Skin!, explain general pricing and available services using approved information, and confidently guide them toward the appropriate consultation or appointment. Support skincare product, package, and membership sales in alignment with provider recommendations. Coordinate with our patient coordinator and providers so inquiries, follow-up needs, and next steps do not get lost. Maintain accurate patient information and take intake photos. Update patient contact information and administrative details in our electronic medical record. Take standardized intake photos when patients arrive, following our photography, consent, and privacy procedures. Keep information organized, accurate, and confidential. Manage product orders and inventory. Process skincare product orders received by phone and email, coordinate pickup or delivery, and package and ship orders through UPS once weekly. Monitor retail and general office inventory, flag items that need to be ordered, and keep supplies organized. Keep the office ready for patients. Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming reception area and shared spaces. Restock the snack and beverage bar, replenish paper towels and toilet paper, and take out all trash at the end of the day. Light cleaning and daily opening and closing tasks are part of this position. We are a hands-on team, and the small details matter. What we're looking for At least three years of client relations, customer service, or other client-facing experience. Previous front desk or receptionist experience , including scheduling, answering phones, and managing multiple priorities. Demonstrated sales experience , with confidence discussing pricing, answering questions, following up, and helping clients make purchasing decisions without pressure. Strong communication and computer skills , including accurate data entry and comfort learning scheduling, payment, and electronic medical record systems. Reliability, discretion, and initiative. You arrive prepared, follow through on commitments, protect patient privacy, and notice what needs attention without waiting to be asked. Experience in a medical office, dermatology practice, plastic surgery office, medical aesthetics practice, or another service-focused healthcare setting is preferred. Familiarity with Aesthetic Record is a plus. An interest in skincare and aesthetics is important, along with a willingness to learn our services, products, and protocols. You do not need to know every treatment on day one, but you do need to be curious, engaged, and comfortable asking questions. You'll thrive here if… You can be friendly without losing focus, confident without being pushy, and efficient without making someone feel rushed. You understand that good sales start with listening. You are comfortable discussing cost, but you also respect a patient's budget and the provider's recommendations. You take pride in accurate work, a well-run schedule, and a space that looks ready for the next person walking through the door. Most importantly, you understand that you are not "just the front desk." You are a major part of why a patient chooses us—and why they come back. How to apply Apply through Indeed with your resume and a brief introduction describing your front desk experience, sales background, and interest in working at Skin! Medical Aesthetics. Skin!
