Front Desk Receptionist Wanderlust Dogs is dedicated to providing premium dog hospitality services and the best care possible. We're growing and are looking for a Front Desk Concierge whose primary focus will be to create a great first impression for our guests and their owners. Responsibilities:
Act as the face of Wanderlust Dogs, greeting clients and their dogs with a great attitude and welcoming personality Get to know and build a bond with the dogs and their owners Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner Assist new clients during the registration process, ensuring all documents and shots are up to date Set up temperament tests and a tour of the facility for first-time clients Educate clients on our services, prices, and facility amenities Manage the check-in and checkout process for dogs attending daycare or boarding Oversee the retail checkout process and handle all questions related to merchandise Maintain and clean the lobby and common areas Prepare dog meals and medications according to the owner's instructions and relay any special requests to the dog attendant on duty Provide owners with daily pictures and behavioral/health updates as needed Follow organizational procedures and protocols with an emphasis on maintaining health and safety standards
Requirements:
Passion for dogs, their care, health, and safety Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual Comfortable and confident working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments Proficient computer skills. Experience with dog scheduling software such as Gingr is a plus, but not required Patient and professional when dealing with dogs, customers and teammates Available and willing to work weekends and holidays Dependable transportation and availability to work in all weather conditions Physical activity, able to stand for extended periods, and lift up to 40 lbs
