Job Description

Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsible for friendly, efficient scheduling of patient surgeries, office visits, or other medical procedures. Maintaining accurate patient records, coordinating all telephone traffic, and other duties as assigned.
List of Responsibilities/Duties:
Answer phones, schedule all provider appointments, and coordinate testing when necessary Reschedule, cancel, and handle no-show appointments according to policy Maintain complete and accurate patient records and files Coordinate insurance and financial aspects of patient care with the appropriate staff Greet and admit patients in a friendly and efficient manner Collect payments from patients and answer questions regarding insurance coverage Assist in keeping waiting area clean and neat Ability to prescreen patients before admission into the facility Participation in Safety and Performance Improvement programs as needed Ability to operate standard office equipment such as copiers, computers, and postage meters Perform other office related duties as required
Minimum Education Requirements:
High school graduate preferred Previous office experience required
Minimum Background Requirements:
Ability to read, write, and communicate in a professional manner Demonstrate reliability, a pleasant attitude, and a willingness to perform the duties as required Ability to maintain the utmost patient confidentiality at all times
Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an indoor environment Travel between the Montrose and Delta locations may be required Must have the ability to push, pull, bend, and reach Must be drug free
Pay:
$17.00 - $21.50 per hour Ability to
