Job Description

American Academy (AA) has an immediate opening for a full-time front office Receptionist for Motsenbocker campus. The Receptionist reports to the Office Manager and is responsible for managing visitors, volunteers, attendance, school messages, etc.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to the mission and philosophy of American Academy with enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity Uphold and model American Academy's Character Program and Manners Greet and check-in or assist visitors and volunteers: Maintain a positive "face" for all visitors to American Academy; Maintain a safe environment within the school by electronically checking in all visitors through Easy Lobby Manage attendance: Record daily attendance and listen to attendance line; Maintain and record all attendance issues; Send daily message to parents of students not called in Manage school messages: Review all voicemails on a daily basis; Return all messages within 24 business hours; Answer phone calls professionally and courteously Assist office manager, as required (20%): Assist in the health room; Assist with projects/PTO activities; Assist with student, parent and teacher requests and needs Positive Contribution to the
School Environment:
Provide timely and clear communication; Respond to staff and parent emails within 48 hours; Provide monthly updates to the Office Manager; Demonstrate initiative in personal achievements and team support; Maintain integrity with respect to hierarchy in the organization; Demonstrate professionalism; Demonstrate positive relationships with colleagues
Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent Minimum job-related experience; Experience in an educational environment preferred
